Johnflies Fly Factory Ltd was founded in Nairobi in 2010 with a simple idea: tie flies so well, and price them so honestly, that fly shops never need to look elsewhere.
Sixteen years on, our tyers hand-tie thousands of flies every week for dealers and distributors in America, Europe, Asia and Australia. We work to the seasons and the entomology of the waters our customers fish — trout rivers, stillwaters, salmon runs and salt flats — so the patterns on your wall are the patterns that sell.
Every fly is tied by a trained tyer, checked on the bench and packed to survive the journey. If it would not go in our own box, it does not leave ours.
